Thrift Store Portraits

This is a little photo project I started almost unintentionally. I'm a professional photographer by trade, and I also love going to thrift stores. It was inevitable that I'd notice compelling objects, figurines especially, on display and have the urge to photograph them.

The more I look, the more the figurines seem to have a life and react to their chaotic surroundings. I try to capture their expressions exactly as I find them.
